Within high-end network security market segment, either in core network, Access network, Carrier, or ISP, there is a demand for reliable CPU with highest performance, multiple Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and high availability with redundancy design for 24x7x365 no-stop running requirement. Teak 5052 are specifically designed with the highest performance Intel® Dual-Core ET64T Dual Xeon, supporting high bandwidth and fully buffering DDR2 533/667MHz SDRAM up to 16GB. They are equipped with Intel® 82571 LAN chipset to enhance the system performance. In order to meet different customers' requirement in LAN port type for fiber optical (SFP)/cooper (and number), Teak 5052 are designed with LAN modules which could be plugged in and out from the front side of chassis. The full system redundancy design of Teak 5052 are equipped with Redundant Power Supply and SATA RAID 0/1 dual backup storage.
Teak5052 also has another two new features: âDual-way By-pass functionâ and â HDD Anti-shock designâ to keep your HDD working life etc. The new design concept of âDual-way By-passâ stands in contrast to traditional LAN By-pass design.
