Release Date : 2010-03-25  AR Infotek announces a new model, Pipal 2013D, for its industrial embedded system product line. With ARinfotek’s current embedded products all being fan-less and low power consumption, Pipal 2013D follows along in this same route, being total fan-less solution and consumes minimal energy, which gives users another choice of small rugged embedded system with great durability and reliability to choose from. However, one of the unique and new features that differ the Pipal 2013D from the other embedded systems is that it supports DIN Rail mount vertically, which simply made Pipal 2013D a perfect candidate for many applications in Automation control.
Pipal 2013D is based on AMD LX-800 CPU chipset with DDR memory support maximum up to 512MB. On its front panel, it consists two 10/100 fast Ethernet LAN ports, two DB-9 COM interfaces, two phoenix RS-422/485 interfaces with isolation protection, and a phoenix digital I/O interface also with isolation protection support. There is also a DB-15 VGA interface and two USB ports allowing users to use for monitoring and other additional needs.
Internally, there are enough space reserved for both CF and 2.5” HDD storage options and users can also add various expansion options via the Mini PCI slot on motherboard for additional flexibility.
