Release Date : 2011-06-22  AR Infotek has just extended its Industrial Product Line, by adding the new Pipal 2301A/D and 2302D/AG series to its family of Embedded Systems.
Overview: The new Pipal 2300 series is the newest addition to the Pipal family of fanless industrial embedded platform systems. In this series, the customer has a choice between the Intel i7 quad and i5/i3 dual core design, depending on the model being chosen. The unique feature of the i7 4-core is, that it will provide the highest performance in computing power available on the market at the present moment. It is equipped with a mobile Intel QM67 express chipset. The new Pipal 2300 series therefore, is able to offer you long- term support with exceptionally high performance, while at the same time being low on power consumption and also able to completely abdicate the cooling fan.
Its wide range operation temperature makes it a perfect fit for any fan less solution. Therefore it can be used for example for industrial automation and control. Its wide temperature range from -30 ºC to +55º C also makes it a reliable system when it comes to harsh weather conditions, such as common in outdoor industry grade digital signage. However, it can also be used as a design house personal server or in the medical field and it would also be suitable for real time image analysis due to its graphic power.

The new 2300 series also supplies the customer with outstanding graphic capacity and quality with the help of its 2D or 3D graphic engine, yet again depending on the model being chosen. Furthermore, the series supports DVI/VGA with the option of adding an LVDS dual independent display.
For storage solution the new pipal 2300 series also provides the customer with a variety of different ways to store information, for example 2 So-DIMM. Furthermore, the DDR3s used in this series can be up to 16GB with a frequency of 1066/1333 MHz. The 2300 series is also equipped with an internal or optional removable 2.5'' SATA-2/3 with RAID function, as well as a DC or optional AC power input.
The system provides six external USB 2.0 ports, four 16C550A-compatible UARTs, one PS/2 Mouse, one PS/2 K/B, two LANs, audio ports as well as one eSATA interface. Moreover, there can be up to two PCI Express x1 slots provided to connect external devices to it.
