Teak 3018 is designed with low power consumption - 2.4W AMD LX-800 CPU processor with North Bridge, AMD CS5536 south bridge and four Intel 82551ER LAN Fast Ethernet chipset. To keep the same high quality level in Teak series products, Teak 3018 is designed with FAN-less low power consumption and reliable performance that meets trusted wireless network security appliance requirement in ROBO (Remote office, Branch office), SOHO (Small office, Home office), SMB (Small Medium Business) environment. It support 802.11g WiFi environment to protect wireless security. This system offers Compact Flash type II slot or 2.5" IDE interface HDD for your OS and application software.?The system memory is embedded with 128MB DDR RAM.?That's one 20 Watts power adapter for the system running. For easy management and diagnostics, there are four auto-sensing 10/100 Fast Ethernet RJ-45 ports, two LAN port with Bypass function to keep your network is working if the appliance is out of order, one 9 pins RS-232 serial port in front panel for easy management.
In order to provide a high C/P value network security appliance in entry level market, Teak 3018 is equipped with one PCI slot for extension ability or crypto function reinforcement, offering a highly-reliable & fully integrated function in the small rack-mounted appliance platform.
